First-Gen Too

The First-Gen Too initiative at the University of Florida aims to foster community amongst those who identify as first-generation.

If you see a First Gen Too pennant flag in the office of a faculty or staff member, take it as a sign to spark a conversation with them about their unique experiences as a first-generation student!

Faculty and staff who participate in this initiative commit to providing valuable resources and support by exchanging stories and developing connections with current students. Together, we aim to empower students to succeed and develop a stronger sense of belonging on campus.
